Assistant Conductor Arnis Paurs (b.1961)

Arnis Paurs finished Emīls Dārziņš Music School and graduated from Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music as a choir conductor in 1984. He has extensive experience in singing and interpreting a variety of music styles and genres in such professional choirs as Latvian Radio Choir (1984-1988), State choir Latvija (1988-1990; 1999-2011), the chamber music choir Ave Sol (1995-1999) and Latvian Culture Fund’s Choir (1991-1993). He had been an assistant director of the male choir Gaudeamus (1983-1992) at Riga Technical University. Since 2005 Arnis has been an artistic director and  chief conductor of Presidium Convent Male Choir. Participating as a singer in international projects in different professional choirs has widened his view and the knowledge of choir singing which is a key factor in supporting and assisting Ioanne Shenrock.

Choir master Rihards Rudzītis (b.1973)

Rihards Rudzītis is a graduate of Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music as a choir conductor. As a conductor and a singer he was involved in various musical projects in countries like USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, China, Israel, Russia, and nearly all of the European countries. One of his most significant performances was a solo in the musical Les Miserables staged in Riga and Verdi’s Requiem performed in Toulon. An assistant conductor of the choir he has also proved himself as a teacher offering masterclasses in choir singing in Marseille and conducting concerts at the Baltic countries Students Song festival in Vilnius. He has been a conductor of the male choir Gaudeamus at Riga Technical University since 1996. In 2011 Rihards Rudzītis founded the youth choir Universum in Jaunmārupe and is a music teacher at the Jaunmārupe Primary School.
